Whether you know Ozzy Osbourne as the founding, lead singer of the Black Sabbath, the Godfather of Heavy Metal, or the budgie, slurring reality TV star of “The Osbournes”, Ozzy is a living legend, in part because he is still alive. Osbourne’s album, titled Black Rain, was released on 22 May 2007. Osbourne’s first new studio album in almost six years, it featured a more serious tone than previous albums. “I thought I’d never write again without any stimulation…But you know what? Instead of picking up the bottle I just got honest and said, ‘I don’t want life to go (to pieces)’”, Osbourne stated in a Billboard interview.
